Why I Became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach for Women: My Journey with Fibromyalgia

Allow me to introduce myself—my name is Dayna Chefetz, CHC, CLC, and I’m thrilled to have you here. Thank you for visiting, and I look forward to connecting with you!

In September 2021, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and everything changed. For years, I felt as though my body had betrayed me. I no longer recognized the person in the mirror—my energy was depleted, my body ached constantly, and I found myself struggling with the daily unpredictability of this invisible chronic illness.

At first, I didn’t know how to navigate this new version of myself. I had to grieve the old me—the woman who was strong, active, and full of vitality—and slowly learn to accept the new version of myself. It wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t quick. But over time, I came to a powerful realization: I can love the woman I’ve become, despite the challenges I face every day.

This journey hasn’t been without its ups and downs, but it’s been transformative. I’ve learned that living with fibromyalgia doesn’t mean giving up on living a full, rich life. And through this experience, I discovered my true calling—to help other women reclaim their bodies, rise above their chronic conditions, and unlock their full potential.
